On behalf of the Dartmouth District Minor Baseball Association (DDMBA) Board of Directors, I would like to invite all members to attend our upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

As we reflect on another baseball season, I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to making 2026 a successful year for Dartmouth Minor Baseball.
This past season saw record registration numbers, demonstrating the continued growth and enthusiasm for baseball in our community. While this growth is certainly something to celebrate, it has also presented challenges, particularly with the availability of suitable baseball fields and the ongoing difficulties of scheduling around unpredictable weather.
Despite these obstacles, we were able to deliver another successful season of baseball for our players. This would not have been possible without the tremendous dedication and commitment of our volunteer coaches, team managers, coordinators, and Board members.
Our volunteers are truly the backbone of this association. The countless hours spent coaching, organizing practices and games, maintaining fields, coordinating schedules, and supporting our young athletes often go unnoticed. Their efforts make it possible for hundreds of children and youth in our community to enjoy the game of baseball each year, and for that, we are extremely grateful.
Annual General Meeting and Board Nominations
Our AGM provides an opportunity to review the past season, discuss the challenges and opportunities facing our association, and look ahead to the 2027 baseball season.
As part of this year's AGM, the following Board positions will be open for nominations:
President - incumbent is reoffering
Secretary - incumbent is reoffering
Arrows Coordinator - incumbent is reoffering

As our association continues to grow, so does the importance of having dedicated individuals willing to contribute their time, ideas, and leadership. Fresh perspectives and new volunteers are essential to ensuring we continue providing a positive baseball experience for all our players and families.
Looking Ahead
While we have much to be proud of from the 2026 season, we also recognize there is work to be done. Addressing our field shortages, managing continued registration growth, improving our programs, and strengthening the overall experience for players, coaches, and families will remain important priorities moving forward.
